Sertão sem fim reúne doze contos, que narram histórias de homens rudes, cujo teor se vincula diretamente à formação do sertanejo em terras do Centro-Oeste brasileiro. O livro teve sua primeira edição publicada em 1965 pela Livraria São José e se encontrava esgotado há muito tempo. Devido à sua grande importância para a literatura regional, a obra foi reeditada pela Editora UFG em 2000 e 2011, esta última compondo o terceiro volume da Coleção Artexpressão, com ilustrações da artista plástica Kátia Jacarandá.
